We are a group of small business owners that met since 2004.

• We believe that Oregon small businesses can make a difference and improve the lives of all Oregonians.  We are a progressive non-partisan organization with the goal to improve political leadership in Oregon and nationally with the intent to improve healthcare, education, social justice and other issues that are important to Oregonians.

• Small businesses can make a difference.  You are invited to review our current activities, our positions and join us in our efforts to improve leadership at the state and federal level.  Your input and participation is important.  We represent a voluntary organization with the intent to fully represent Oregonians and do so at the ground level.  An infusion of reality is very much needed as we move forward and your input is important.

OSBRL was inspired by a group of Oregon small business owners who recognized a need to enhance small business participation in community affairs. Small businesses are primary contributors to economic and social stability throughout Oregon. However, they are often passed over when policy issues are being considered. Elected officials and government agency heads continue to focus attention and resources on larger entities and projects. They often fail to consider the long-term effects on our communities and the economic sector which sustains them. OSBRL will partner with others to elect responsible leadership and to create working frameworks beneficial to small business and its role in community development.
